Recently, I was introduced to an uber cool website called Lookbook.nu. Founded in 2008, LOOKBOOK.nu is the original, user-generated & community-curated gallery showcasing do-it-yourself fashion photography from everyday people, everywhere. Inspired by the concept of The Satorialist except that all the photos are taken by the models themselves and submitted onto Lookbook.nu. Comme des Garcon and Matt Groening, the man behind the Simpsons and and the late-70s comic strip Life in Hel, have collaborated on a line of apparel for the brand’s PLAY label. The capsule collection’s short- and long-sleeved tops, all of which feature Life in Hell characters Binky and Sheba along with PLAY’s beloved heart logo. The collaboration is being further rolled out with more products, including the tote bag above and simultaneous launches globally of different installations at Comme des Garcon stores worldwide from May 18 – 27, these include; Paris, London, Singapore, Tokyo, New York, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul, Beijing and Shanghai.

I HEART FRAGRANCE! And I love it for so many reasons. 1) Besides its lovely scent, so much effort has been placed into designing the packaging, the bottles and the ad campaigns to promote the scents. Here’s a sneak preview of the H&M Men’s Fall Winter Collection 2011. I can’t be more excited. This will be the collection that will be in Singapore for the first time as the Swedish clothing retail giant opens its first store here in Singapore. Gone are the days when I have to travel all the way to Hong Kong for my H&M fix, yeah!! Asia’s new male supermodel – Godfrey Gao

I first set eyes on Godfrey Gao (高以翔) on a Taiwanese variety show as an up-and-coming actor promoting a Taiwanese drama, MOMO LOVE in 2009. He was not even the lead actor in the show but when I saw him , I knew that someday this unusually tall(195cm, wow!)and extraordinary handsome actor is going to bigger than he will ever know. Fast forward 2 years later and Godfrey is turning heads and gracing covers of many fashion magazines. But none of these as grand as the attention he is getting from being the first Asian male model to appear on a Louis Vuitton ad campaign in it’s Spring/Summer 2011 Ready-To-Wear campaign.
