JACK SPADE, known for selecting distinctive individuals in creative fields for their advertising campaign, has gone a step further for Spring 2014. Not only is the brand featuring pro surfer turned filmmaker Mikey DeTemple for this season’s campaign, but the brand has also commissioned him to create a short film titled “Now for Then,” inspired by JACK SPADE’s design theme for the spring season.
“Mikey brings a unique spirit to everything he does, as he hops between both sides of the lens, the sea and the editing room. Like his surfing, his filmmaking is classic and unconventional, exquisite yet aggressive. He’s got soul and it has been a wonderful experience to partner with him this season.” – JACK SPADE’s Marketing Director Dan Lakhman
Mikey DeTemple says, “I have truly enjoyed working with JACK SPADE on this project. The brand cares immensely for their craft, the same way I care for mine. It’s that harmony that not only allowed us to collaborate so well on the campaign, but also inspired me in the making of ‘Now for Then.’” – Mikey DeTemple.
