New Balance relaunches their classic 997 style to the Made in the USA line this month.

Originally released in 1991, the 997 was the fourth model in the 990 series, and the first to merge the new technology of shock absorbing ENCAP® and C-CAP® to provide mid-foot support, with two different materials combined into one comfortable insole.

With the reintroduction of the MiUSA New Balance 997, the brand maintains the authenticity of the debut style by using the original materials and technology, when possible. The pigskin and mesh upper includes detailing seen on the 1991 style including a basketball print synthetic cuff; knit tongue backer; reflective ‘N’ logo; soft synthetic lining; and, blown rubber outsole. The bring-back 997 also includes ENCAP® and C-CAP® technologies for a comfortable ride.

The MiUSA New Balance 997 retails for $299 and is only available at Limited Edt Vault, Leftfoot, Supplies&Co., and New Balance Bugis Junction/Scape/Novena Square.
