While the offerings on the catwalks of UOMO Paris Fashion Week kept close to the familiar ideals of a clean-cut, insouciantly stylish Parisian gentleman à la Alain Delon, the street style scene in the arrondissements painted a different picture. It's almost tautological to say, but the men of Paris displayed a sharp instinct for what is and will be in vogue – jumpsuits, elongated shirts that serve as jackets, Japanese workwear, urban street-meets-sportswear, as well as the resurgence of the souvenir jacket from its murky grave.
