I caught up with Nicholas recently following his photography trip in Shanghai, and got his take on the current state of street style, and what are some of his style inspirations.
While the offerings on the catwalks of UOMO Paris Fashion Week kept close to the familiar ideals of a clean-cut, insouciantly stylish Parisian gentleman à la Alain Delon, the street style scene in the arrondissements painted a different picture. It's almost tautological to say, but the men of Paris displayed a sharp instinct for what is and will be in vogue – jumpsuits, elongated shirts that serve as jackets, Japanese workwear, urban street-meets-sportswear, as well as the resurgence of the souvenir jacket from its murky grave.
