For it’s Spring Summer 2013 men’s show, Donatella sent a bunch of scantily clad walls of muscle models down its catwalks and now she followed with with launch of it’s newest men’s fragrance (after five years to be exact)  Versace Eros , named after the clothes-optional Greek god of love. Versace has always been deeply connected with Greek mythology since the time when Gianni Versace raised his fashion empire and took goddess Medusa as symbol of the brand to adorn numerous products of the house.

The aim of this edition is to reveal and release unrestrained passion and to accentuate desire. Fresh top notes of mint, Italian lemon and apple give a vital energy to the juice, while tonka bean, ambroxan and geranium flower heat up its heart. Finally, sensual, masculine notes of cedarwood, vetyver and oak moss compose the the powerful base to this daring, alluring fragrance.

The fragrance is accompanied by a typically understated (read: underdressed) ad campaign featuring a bow and arrow wielding Brian Shimansky. Yummy!
